David Smith

Pastor David Smith is a native of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. David is a graduate of Mountain State University in Beckley, WV and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Prior to moving to Kentucky, David served pastorates in North Carolina, West Virginia, and South Carolina.
Both David and his wife, Nancy, have been actively involved in denominational work at the associational, state, and national levels. Nancy is past president and current member of the North Greenville University Women's Auxiliary. David has preached at associational meetings, the West Virginia Baptist Convention Pastor's Conference and delivered the West Virginia Baptist Convention sermon.

Terrence (Terry) Freeman was born into a military family and lived in a number of locations both in the States and overseas during his school years. After graduation from high school he joined the Air Force for four years. Following the military service he attended and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1969 and then attended Vanderbilt Divinity School receiving both the Master of Divinity (1972) and the Doctor of Ministry (1973) degrees.
In 1967 he married the former Beverly Anderson of Smyrna, TN. They have two children: Tracy and Troy. Tracy lives in Smyrna, TN and Troy resides in Lexington, KY. Terry & Beverly are the proud grandparents of two granddaughters.
Prior to coming to Kentucky in 1974 Terrence Freeman was the pastor of the Rucker Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN and later William’s Chapel Baptist Church in Springfield, TN. Pastorates in Kentucky were Gilead Baptist Church in Glendale and Auburn Baptist in Auburn. After twenty-three years as pastor of Grace Baptist he has recently retired.
The membership of Grace Baptist Church are very fortunate to have been pastored by Terry and we hope and pray for all the best during this time of retirement. Thanks Terry! |
